It's Friday!

Happy Friday the 13th, friends!

Taryn and I just got off the phone and we were talking about how much we love Sienna Miller's style. I am in love with her bright yellow oxfords and pants in this photo. In fact, I may just try to find myself a pair of shoes similar this weekend!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! xo

Ms. Trump

Saw the cut-out pumps on the sales girl at Nordstrom last weekend and I fell in love. She paired them with a pair of slouchy boyfriend pants in black, a baggy mens sweater and big Chanel sunglasses she turned into eyeglasses. Loved the whole look. Not only are these pumps reasonably priced, but as my new fashionable friend in Woman's Shoes pointed out, you can tell they were designed by a woman who wears heels - super comf with extra padding in the toe.
I definitely don't love everything from Ivanka's line, but here are a couple of standouts - - I'm sure there will be more to come.

Shoe-Genius!

I have this problem. I have big feet and skinny calves and I cannot for the life of me find boots that don't make me look like I'm a child wearing my mom's shoes. I know, I know, this is a "nice problem to have", but it is seriously frustrating! On the flip side, I know a lot of peeps who have a hard time getting boots to zip up around their more muscular calves. Enter Duo. This boot line from London has like 21 calf widths to choose from! It's spendy, for sure, but maybe worth it. What do you think? Do you know anybody who's tried these out?

let it rain

sometimes (just sometimes!) living in san diego, i wish it would rain a little more just so i wouldn't feel so funny wearing rain boots. it just doesn't rain enough... so if you wear them it's complete overkill.

but then i saw these cute rain booties... :)
see on nylon and Loeffler Randall

ps - san diego, i actually love the sunny weather you give us year round, so i can always go visit miss b to get my rain fix.  ;)

Practically stolen: Luxury Rebel Wedges

Okay, so not really . . . these were still $99, BUT originally $185! I was at the Rack this weekend (shocking, I know, but think of it as my hobby . . . like hiking or surfing, maybe) and I stumbled upon these summer wedges by Luxury Rebel in the designer shoe section. I actually bought them in a really rad shade of gray, but these were the only images I could find. They had the coral ones, as well, in a 9, if anyone's interested!

It was love at first sight. I'm even happier to report that I wore them all day yesterday without so much of a twinge of pain. There's nothing like a new pair of shoes that are hot AND comfortable to start the week off right!

It's June? Really?

Geez Louise! We are having a VERY rainy June up here in the Pacific Northwest and if I can be honest, it makes getting dressed for work kind of a bitch. I'm ready for warm weather, sundresses, tanks, pedis and sandals. However, if I had these, I might be able to put up the rain a little bit longer. Loving these waterproof pumps. These are part of a collaboration between Slow and Steady Wins the Race and a local shop called Stand-Up Comedy.

Happy Friday, friends! xoxo
