things we love - food edition

we're always finding new foods to get addicted to... here's some we love that you should love too!

k:  evolution juices are the best!  my favorite so far is Sweet Greens and Lemon - so good.  check out this article and keep an eye out for evolution stores popping up - hopefully San Diego is next on the list!

t: this stuff is soooooo good and it's baked in fruit instead of oil so it's so much better for you than normal granola! (local cali brand too!)

k:  i am obsessed with these gluten-free, dairy-free chips!

t: I love all of Justin's nut butters... but this vanilla almond one is bonkers! it's sold exclusively at whole foods and pretty much the yummiest thing straight out of the jar.

we're both big fans of larabars... our fav flavors:

t: peanut butter + jelly & coconut cream pie

you know about our addiction to kale (here & here) ... so when Julia over at the post social told us about these we died! we have yet to try them (oh we will!)... but we trust her that they rock!

k:  obsessed with my new Dior Addict lipstick in beige dandy my cousin got me for my b-day, it's the perfect color for me and i feel so fancy wearing it!

t: I'm loving my new cleobella bag... you must check out their new store in seal beach!

k:  i got one of these bkr water bottles for my birthday from my friend Amy and it's perfect for yoga and barre3.  i absolutely love it - there's nothing better than drinking from a glass bottle!

t: my eye brow girl (who is also my skin guru) gave me some samples of this stuff and it's amazing! jam-packed with goodness for your face!

k:  retin-a is my new bff. i finally listened to my dermatologist, giving this a fair shot and it's working super well! the key is to start using it at night, every 3rd night and gradually work up to every night.  Also use it on super dry skin (30 minutes after washing) to avoid irritation.

t: trader joes always has the good stuff. i'm loving their shave cream... no razor burn or irritations! it's the best.

k: i got these rad hair tyes as a gift and i'm obsessed!

k: just ordered these bad boys on sale and i'm not taking them off until it stops raining.

k: one of my new year's resolutions was to drink more water and this 40oz. bottle helps! i figure two of these a day and i'm good to go.

k: I just picked up this color at JCrew and I absolutely love it! Keep on collaborating 'Crew, it's workin' for ya!

t: back when i used to work in footwear, i had a bunch of korean friends i worked with and they would always share their amazing roasted seaweed snacks with me and i became addicted. and now trader joes has their own... and they even have a wasabi flavored one! beyond addicting & low calorie too! (i got k into them too!)

k: I stumbled on this awhile back and it's the best product ever. It removes deoderant/makeup stains from any garment, effortlessly.

t: just got my "zom body to love" green glow in the dark nail poilsh for halloween! ;) loved this little "spookettes" pack of mini polishes from OPI. (others included: he's my boo (orange), mummy knows best (white), &  i only date werewolves (black crackle)

k: Everyone around me is sick right now and I keep avoiding it (knock on wood), because I LOAD up on this stuff the moment I feel something coming on. Works like a charm.

t: instagram has been the newest social media rage... but i keep hearing people that don't know about it, so i thought i'd share. it's like twitter but with photos. it's been another fun way to connect with people... so if you don't have this app yet - go get it and start posting photos!  it's a lot of fun.

t: target find.. only $29 and i love them!

k: If you suffer from ingrown hairs after waxing, this s%$@ works. For reals. It's made by a local Portlander, owner of Urban Waxx studio and it's seriously the bomb.

t: google catalogs app for ipad -- have you guys seen this yet? another brilliant idea from google - all your favorite catalogs in one spot! you can subscribe to catalogs you want to receive, browse by category, and shop directly from each catalog ... and his will help reduce all the wasted catalogs sent to every one's homes.

k: I recently bought this 100% wool rug to lay right by my bed, so it's the first thing my feet touch when I wake up and I totally love it, especially since I have concrete floors... only $29 at Ikea! Cozy.

t: my dermatologist recommended that i use cetaphil cream as my everyday lotion on my skin & i'm obsessed! she told me that any lotion that comes in a "pump" bottle is watered down for it to work, so using a cream in a tub is always better for your skin!

k: I think I'm the last person on earth to get an electric toothbrush, but I honestly can't believe how much cleaner my teeth feel and how much whiter they are! Here's the one I got, the newest product by my celeb dentist, Dr. Raymond at Bling Dental!

K: I thought I was being a bit ridiculous buying a bright purple lace bandeau for $37, but surprisingly, I have a lot of things to wear it under! It's perfect for anything that's a little too low in the front front or low sleeves under the arms!

T: my favorite nail polish color of the moment is sephora by OPI in "how cute is that?". it's a vintage pink color with a tad of shimmer.... perfect for summer!

K: Once again, I found another product by Laura Mercier that I LOVE. This oil-free foundation lays sooo nicely. The gal at Nordstrom suggested wetting the sponge to make it more like a tinted moisturizer. Love!

T: this might have to be the best tank top ever made! it's reversible (scoop neck on one side, v-neck on the other!), seamless, comfy, ... and only $24 (at anthro)!  how smart!

K: I practically live on black coffee and red wine, so I am constantly whitening. I love this mouthwash, it totally works!

T: miss katie over at it's lovely lately made me this quinoa salad recently and i'm now obsessed with it (and all kinds of cold quinoa salads). she posted the recipe on her blog today... so try it out!

Happy Friday! We're going to do a recurring post called things we love, that you should love, because that's kind of how this blog started! We were constantly e-mailing each other about things we bought or found that the other one should check out! Enjoy!

K: I just found this wax for brows and I totally love it!

T: my friend katie got me into this stuff --- it's SOOO yummy in smoothies!

K: I love this blazer by Gibson. I literally throw it on over everything - great purchase! 

 T: a while back when i was buying some pink lipstick at mac, the mac girl convinced me i needed this stuff... i'm so happy she did, because this stuff rules! keeps your lips bright all night & no smudges or pink/red teeth!

K: It's neurotic, but I honestly buy one of these tanks every time I go to Target. I sleep in them, workout in them and layer them under aforementioned black blazer. They're the best!

 T: i'm a nail polish nut... and i'm loving this brand because of their "3 free" polish.  no formaldehyde. no toluene. no DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate). they also seem to come up with the most amazing colors! my new fav is the color above - artful dodger
