Vacation, finally!

I'm headed to San Diego tonight for 10 days to lay in the sun, shop, see some movies, catch up with friends and hang out with the fam. Oh and I have two weddings to attend! Fun! Can't WAIT! Most importantly it's Miss Taryn's birthday next week and you better believe we're gonna go big! We hope you have the best weekend ever! xoxo

cala mia :: panama

more from our panama trip... 

this was by far one of our favorite days of the trip. we hired a boat taxi, who took us to this tiny small island which had a special little boutique (and eco-friendly) resort called cala mia. the place is entirely solar powered and it was stunning! if you ever find yourself in panama... you must check this place out! 

i think k and i could have just stayed in this spot for the rest of the trip if it had been up to us. 

we vowed we're going back one day (with our super hot future husbands). 

the island is surrounded by gorgeous blue panama water... 

we had some margaritas in the little common area... 

inside the little hut... a cute bar and a little lookout tower you can climb to see an even better view! 

a suspension bridge that takes you to another tiny tiny island where they have their massage & spa area...

ps --- we wanted to wish both our fabulous mom's the best mothers day! we both feel so lucky to have the amazing mother's we have!

Long weekend, here I come!

I'm headed down to San Diego tomorrow morning, bright and early, to celebrate birthday #31, (the first time ever it's fallen ON Easter. Weird, huh?!) and hang with family and friends. I am especially excited to reunite with my blogging counterpart, Taryn, for some serious catching up. Texting, e-mailing and talking on the phone just doesn't compare to actual face time! Yay!





PS: Did you watch the OC? I was obsessed!!! LOVED this theme song!

i am off to palm springs today to celebrate a bunch of birthdays with my friends... and it's supposed to be HOT HOT HOT (like 115 degrees hot). i think i'll be in the pool the entire time. :)
