I saw Bill Cunningham New York last night at Living Room Theaters in Portland and it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. It's a documentary about New York Times fashion photographer, Bill Cunningham. The 80-something photographer rides a Schwinn (he's on his 29th, 28 have been stolen!) all around Manhattan, and is pretty much solely responsible for showcasing trends before anyone else. As Anna Wintour says in the film, "We all get dressed for Bill." It seriously moved me. Go see it, and report back! xo
