uh... hello! we're back... sorry for disappearing on you guys for a bit but like Krissy said, we've been busy busy! (and i could not be happier to have my BFF back in town!)

we'll make it up to you we promise... lots of good stuff coming!

today i have some tunes for you... found these guys a while back via spotify (under similar artists to one of our favs, The Lumineers)... and then they went on tour with our friends The Drowning Men. if you haven't heard them, check em out...  8 peeps in this band so lots of different sounds coming at you! enjoy...

i saw a couple of shows this weekend - grouplove on friday night (see our post here - i am obsessed with this band!) and electric guest on sunday night at mississippi studios! they were the bomb!  such a super fun show!  have a listen and then spotify, like, now!

FYF Fest

i checked out the fyf fest in downtown LA last weekend... and got to see so many old and new fav bands! it was a blast and i think this fest might blow up over the next few years because it was a good one! 

i'm already looking forward for next year...

all day music fests rock --- the people watching is always hands down amazing and i always end up seeing some rad bands i had never heard of before.

mishka's music is pure magic.

i've been a looong time fan (thanks to katie!)... and to see him live is even more amazing. i saw him play at the belly up this past week, so i had to share and do a tunes i love for you guys! he's a reggae singer/songwriter who was born in bermuda & raised on a sailboat traveling the world with his family.

he was recently signed by matthew mcconaughey's label, j. k. livin records -- so trust me you'll be hearing more of him!

My cousin just introduced me to this band last week and she and I are actually going to see them at Mississippi Studios on Thursday, so I'll report back. Doesn't hurt that the singer is super cute! Enjoy!

p.s. - we had the BEST time last night at the head and the heart show at the casbah! wow... they are amazing live! and the best part was that we got to meet and chat with one of the singers, jon after - it made krissy's b-day! ;)
