the terra collection

you must check out our good friend mel's new eco-friendly boutique, called the terra collection.

shelby & i over at joielala took the photos on their new site & heather over at la feem did the styling.... with each purchase of a terra tee, a donation is made to one of many charities dedicated to saving our plant (and the buyer gets to decide which charity the donation is made to). there are 4 unique designs all inspired by the planet earth! we're super stoked for mel & jennifer on their new project!

Going green with goats.

How awesome and totally Portland is this? I love that they're using goats to clear an abandoned lot of weeds! This is super close to downtown!

This is an excerpt from the first edition of an online magazine published by green designer, Kelly LaPlante. Standard Mag. Their tagline is "Green is a standard, not a style." My mom's bff, Diana, (who truly strives to take the planet into consideration with every purchase and action she takes...probably more so than anyone else I know) turned me onto it and I couldn't wait to tell you guys about it! The neat thing is you don't have to wonder about whether anything featured in the magazine is environmentally friendly, they've done the research and only show products that love the earth.

What a concept! Add it to your favorites now.
