How rad are these sandals by Sseko Designs found at EcoVibe Apparel in Portland? You can tie them a million different ways and the straps are interchangeable! PLUS, they're made from locally sourced materials and handcrafted by women in Uganda as a means to help them fund their university education. You can buy them online for around $50 and then it's a whopping $8 to change out the color with new straps! Love it!
i ordered some reef sandals the other day and when i got them i feel in love with the "ugandal" sandal i bought! I knew they went to a good cause and helped the people in uganda, but i had no idea how amazing they were until i watched this video about the people & how the beads are made. this video touched me and made me love my adorable new colorful sandals even more.
everyone should buy a pair to help these wonderful people!
i promise they'll make you smile every time you look down at your cute feet this summer! ;)
